Just a few years ago ALDI stores were seen as being solely the realm of the budget-conscious. Now, this fast-growing supermarket brand has really hit the UK mainstream and they’re holding their own against the other big 5 supermarkets.
With over 10,000 stores in 20 countries, and an estimated combined turnover of more than €50 billion, ALDI are undoubtedly one of the biggest retail success stories in recent years.
The Project
As part of our ongoing relationship with ALDI, Elecomm were tasked with moving over 450 ALDI colleagues into a new wing in their Holly Lane Head Office premises.
The Outcome
The moves were carried out whilst ALDI colleagues were still working in the office, so speed and efficiency were of utmost importance, in order to reduce colleague downtime as much as possible.
Desks were pre-cabled to differing specifications depending on the end-users IT equipment before being moved to a set schedule in a given time slot. Our highly professional team carried out the moves, which included PCs, laptops, screens, IP phones and printers, with a minimum of fuss and disruption.
